We’ve all had that accusing voice in our heads, pointing out all our flaws and faults, telling us we aren’t good enough, declaring our lack of worth, and generally putting us down, haven’t we?
Do you ever consider what it would be like, if the feature length, tell-it-all story of your life, was live-streamed, shown in highest definition, surround sound, IMAX cinema-quality, to, not only all your contacts on your phone, followers/friends on Social Media, everyone you work with, but to everybody you have ever known, and will ever know?

Shame reminds us of all the ways we have totally, completely failed.
How could God possibly love us, or accept us, if He really knew what we are actually like?
Well, spoiler alert… He really does.
The Bible tells us this:
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
– Romans 8:1 NIVUK
“With the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, that fateful dilemma is resolved. Those who enter into Christ’s being-here-for-us no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying black cloud. A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.”
-Romans 8:1-2 The Message
I love how Ann Voskamp says this:

“Shame hungrily devours any hope you can change, while grace keeps laying out a feast of hope and says, ‘Come, eat.’”

Loved to Life –
A 40-Day Pilgrimage with Love Himself That Will Change Your Life.
Jesus has already paid the price for the guilt we all carry. He died on the Cross – the only perfect, once-for-all Sacrifice – to forgive us of ALL of our sins, and restore our relationship with our Father God.
With Easter only days away, let’s consider this afresh, this year, and try to absorb the reality of this amazing truth.
“Grace keeps laying out a feast of hope.”
Who’s hungry? Let’s come eat!
