About Drawing Closer

Hello! I’m Lynne. Welcome to Drawing Closer! Let me share a little about myself.

I am a Jesus follower, married, with two grown up daughters who are both now married themselves, and I’m now a proud nana to my granddaughter!

Like many others, I began my creative journey during Lockdown, back in 2020. I started trying my hand at hand lettering, and watercolour painting. At the end of the year I bought myself an iPad, and started trying out digital design using Procreate. From here, I began making Greetings cards, and I first opened my Etsy shop in January 2021. It is my joy to share the love of Jesus, and my Christian Greetings cards, and faith-gifts (such as calendars, prayer resources, and Affirmation card sets), which I sell on Etsy, are made with love to inspire, empower, and encourage you on your faith journey.

Another side to Drawing Closer is that I love to encourage others by sharing uplifting devotional posts, Bible Study notes, thoughts on Christian books I have read and podcasts I have listened to, and all things relating to Drawing Closer to God – reading and studying the Bible, prayer, and worship.
